Switch in an afternoon. Keep your CRM.
Typeform is built to feel like a conversation. That is great for surveys. For demo requests and inbound, the one-question-at-a-time flow adds taps, hides drop-off, and still ends on a thank-you screen at the exact moment a hot lead wanted to book. Maxiform is built for the inbound job: validate the email, catch the abandoners, and let a qualified buyer book on the spot.
This guide moves a single lead-capture Typeform to Maxiform. Budget about 25 minutes.
What you keep
- Your CRM. Leads sync into the same CRM you use now. Maxiform sits at the capture edge, not in the middle of your stack.
- Your data. Existing responses stay in Typeform. Export them any time; nothing is locked in on either side.
- Your fields. Every question becomes a Maxiform field with the same label and required flag.
What gets better
| Typeform | Maxiform | |
|---|---|---|
| Business email validation | Format check only | Multi-layer real-time validation, personal and disposable emails blocked |
| Someone starts then leaves | Partial responses on higher tiers | Lead captured the instant the email is valid |
| The moment after submit | Thank-you / redirect screen | Qualified lead books a meeting inline |
| Question layout | One at a time by design | Single-step or email-first progressive, your choice |
| Field-level drop-off | Completion rate | See exactly which field loses people |
| Readable by AI agents | No | WebMCP-ready |
The tradeoff worth naming: Typeform's one-at-a-time flow can lift completion on long surveys. For a short inbound form, it mostly adds friction and delays the email you most want to validate. Maxiform lets you run a clean single step, or keep an email-first progressive flow if you want the staged feel without the survey pacing.
Migrate in 5 steps
1. Recreate the fields (or let the scanner do it)
Paste your Typeform's public URL into the scanner on the migrate hub and we pull the questions we can read off the page into a draft. Because Typeform renders one question at a time, the scanner may not see every field, so open the draft in the builder and add anything it missed. Keep it tight: for inbound, fewer fields validate faster and convert better. Make sure the email field is set to required.
2. Pick your layout
Decide between a single-step form (all fields at once, fastest to submit) or email-first progressive (ask the email first, validate it, then reveal the rest). Progressive gives you the staged feel of Typeform while still capturing the email the moment it is valid.
3. Connect your CRM
Point the form at your CRM so leads sync automatically. On HubSpot, connect a Private App token with CRM write scope. Map each field to its property so records land clean.
4. Swap the embed on your site
Replace the Typeform embed (the <div data-tf-...> block and its script) with the Maxiform snippet, one line, under 10KB. If your Typeform opened as a popup or full-page takeover, Maxiform embeds inline by default, which keeps the lead on your page and in context.
5. Add inline booking and verify a test submit
Paste your Calendly or Cal.com link into the form's calendar setting. Now a qualified lead books right after submit, instead of landing on a thank-you screen. Submit the form once with a real business email, confirm the lead reaches your CRM, and confirm the calendar appears. That is the verification.

FAQ
Will I lose my existing Typeform responses? No. Your past responses stay in Typeform and you can export them any time. Maxiform starts capturing new leads once you publish; it does not touch old data.
Can I keep a multi-step, conversational feel? Yes. Turn on email-first progressive and the form asks for the email first, validates it, then reveals the rest. You get staged questions without the one-at-a-time survey pacing.
Does Maxiform block personal emails like gmail? Yes. Business-email validation is core, and it runs in real time, so personal and disposable addresses are caught as they are typed, not after the fact.
How long does it take? About 25 minutes for one form: recreate the fields, pick a layout, connect your CRM, swap the embed, test a submit.
Can a qualified lead book a meeting from the form? Yes. Paste your Calendly or Cal.com link and the calendar appears inline right after a qualified submit, at the peak of intent.
